Why Storm Mountain Coffee Roasters?
We choose our green (raw) coffee beans with great care. Eighty percent of the coffees we buy are from small farmers and private estates that are mindful of the environment and humanity. Most other roasters that consider themselves Fair Trade and Certified Organic, etc. are only required to buy one type of coffee bean to get those certifications (usually from very large commercial plantations). We, however, go far beyond that requirement and choose to find the smallest farmers with the best and rarest beans who naturally treat their employees to good pay, schools, uniforms, medical facilities, harvest festivals, etc. And they are also pesticide free. These small farmers would go out of business and the best beans would be lost and changed out for other crops without our support. They choose not to spend precious dollars on certification fees and trust that roasters like us will continue to support them and their employees in search of saving the best beans in the world.

Even with the care taken in selection and roasting, we have priced our coffees fairly; Storm Mountain Coffee Roasters feels that distinctly supreme coffee should be shared by all specialty coffee lovers. When you try our coffee you will taste the understanding of what "specialty" really means.
